Amanda D’Arcy
Amanda D’Arcy trained in traditional photography, but now works almost exclusively with digital media. Her images are a mixture of in-camera and computer techniques. Amanda works both as a fine art and commercial photographer. She is influenced by abstract themes and images of the natural world.
Amanda was voted Royal Horticultural Society Photographer of the Year in 2004. In the same year she was also awarded 2nd place in the ‘Science as Art’ category of the Daily Telegraph ‘Visions of Science’ competition.
Amanda’s images are sold as ‘wall art’ and have also appeared on book covers, in magazines and on greeting cards throughout the world.
